Christian Religious Studies (C RS) is suffering from the lack of use of instructional material as a result of government failure to provide the materials and to know the great importance of the use of instructional materials of teaching not only Christian Religious Studies (C R S), but it comprises all subjects in primary schools. This research will investigate the importance of the use of instructional materials by Christian Religious Studies (C R S) teachers.

1.1             OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The objectives of this study are:

i.                   To examine the influence of instructional material utilization on the teaching of C R S

ii.                 To find out the extent to which primary school pupils learning of Christian Religious Studies can be influence by the use of instructional materials.

iii.              To find out whether there will be any difference in the academic performance of primary school pupils in Christian Religious Studies due to the use of instructional materials.
